Yes, transparent LED displays are increasingly used in urban landscape lighting, especially for glass curtain walls, shop windows, and sightseeing elevators. However, they are not the only or always the best solution—the choice depends on the installation site, brightness requirements, and architectural design.

As cities continue to develop with technology, they are paying more attention to landscape lighting design. By combining local history, culture, natural landscapes, and other scenic elements and design, cities can present a higher standard of spiritual culture and also symbolize urban prosperity. In recent years, many places across the country have been actively promoting smart city construction. Local governments place special emphasis on urban planning, construction, and landscape lighting projects. So what important preparations are needed in the construction plan for urban landscape lighting projects?

Transparent LED displays, as a transparent “electronic poster” and a new advertising medium, offer a good artistic design experience and advertising communication effect. They are mainly used in glass curtain wall buildings, various glass shop windows in shopping malls, hotels, and sightseeing elevators. Transparent screens are not only light, thin, and easy to install, but also overcome the trouble of pasting and replacing ordinary paper posters. They also avoid the shortcomings of ordinary LED displays, such as being bulky, non-transparent, and unattractive. This novel advertising form is of great significance for attracting a wide audience. For example, when applied to glass curtain walls, it not only provides necessary information and services but also brings audiences excellent visual enjoyment and aesthetic experience. When applied to shopping mall glass windows, it can bring customers a brand-new, pleasurable shopping experience. When applied to sightseeing elevators, it can help passengers relieve fatigue and relax during the ride.

In the construction and development of many urban landscapes, landscape lighting projects have gradually transformed from simple lighting to a combination of science and technology, thus realizing the development process of making cities brighter and more beautiful. As a well-known LED display manufacturer in the industry, SUNRISE analyzed the development trend of urban lighting projects early on and successively launched indoor transparent LED displays, outdoor LED grille screens, and other indoor and outdoor landscape lighting products. These products have won favor in commercial real estate, municipal city creation, and other projects across various regions, becoming the best match for urban garden landscape lighting.

Urban lighting projects and landscape lighting projects have always been a concern of local governments. In many cities, the government has incorporated landscape lighting projects into the main construction projects of urban planning and has set up specialized departments to organize and supervise project management. Therefore, when formulating the construction plan for urban LED landscape lighting projects, relevant departments should also set up specialized departments and technical teams to be responsible for the planning, construction, operation, and commissioning management of landscape lighting projects.

Landscape lighting management is an important measure to maintain long-term stable operation of urban landscape lighting equipment. Therefore, in many cities, standardizing the process of urban landscape lighting construction is intended to avoid light pollution and other safety hazards, thereby ensuring the smooth operation of landscape lighting projects in the later stage.

In the wide application scenarios of transparent LED displays, they are also adding color to the world. The originally dull and gray world has become lively and colorful.
