LED display acceptance is a critical step to ensure project quality and normal operation of the equipment. A comprehensive inspection shall be carried out in terms of **appearance and structure, display effect, functional performance, safety protection, as well as documents and warranty**, to ensure compliance with the contract and industrial standards.
I. Acceptance of Appearance and Structure
Appearance and structure acceptance is the foundation. Inspect that the entire screen is flat, with no obvious bumps, scratches or dents. Modules, frames, heat dissipation components and other parts shall be firmly installed without looseness or abnormal noise.
Meanwhile, power cables and signal cables shall be routed neatly and fixed reliably. The cabinet and support shall be well grounded to eliminate potential safety hazards.
II. Acceptance of Core Display Effect
Display effect is the core of acceptance. First, confirm that the entire screen lights up normally at one time, with no black screens or dark corners.
White balance shall be uniform without color temperature deviation; brightness distribution shall be consistent with no obvious bright or dark blocks. Refresh rate and gray scale shall meet the standards, with no flickering or moiré patterns when viewed at close range.
Inspect for dead or defective pixels row by row under five display modes: full red, full green, full blue, full white and full black. Ensure no dead lamps, always-on lamps or abnormal color dots, and that the defective pixel rate is within the contract-specified range.
In addition, color reproduction shall be realistic. Text, images and videos shall have sharp edges with no ghosting or trailing. High gray scale performance shall be delicate, with no grayish or light-transmitting issues in dark scenes. Splicing gaps shall be even, with no obvious misalignment or splicing marks, and the viewing angle shall be consistent across the entire screen.
III. Acceptance of Control System and Software Functions
Test the control system and software functions item by item. Confirm that sending cards, receiving cards and other devices are properly identified. Resolution, refresh rate and brightness shall be adjustable flexibly. Video and text playback shall be smooth without lag. Basic functions such as timed power on/off and multi-screen switching shall be supported. If there are special functions such as touch control and interaction, verify them one by one as required in the contract.
IV. Acceptance of Heat Dissipation and Power Supply Safety
Heat dissipation and power supply safety shall not be neglected. After continuous operation for 1–2 hours, inspect that the cabinet temperature is normal, fans and power supplies have no abnormal noise or burnt smell, and there is no overheating protection, unexpected black screen or restart.
For power supply, the voltage shall be stable with no tripping or arcing. Live wire, neutral wire and ground wire shall be connected correctly, in compliance with electrical safety and fire prevention requirements.
V. Acceptance of Accessories, Documents and Warranty
Finally, verify that all supporting accessories are complete, including remote controls, cables, operating software, etc. Meanwhile, require the supplier to provide complete documents such as factory test reports, inspection certificates and wiring diagrams. Clarify the warranty period, maintenance response and after-sales terms. Both parties shall sign and confirm the acceptance form to ensure support for subsequent use and after-sales service.
