Outdoor LED displays are designed for outdoor presentation and boast ultra-high brightness—dozens of times higher than indoor ones. Using an indoor LED display outdoors is like placing a TV outside: its brightness is simply insufficient. Therefore, outdoor LED displays must adopt ultra-high brightness LED chips. To further enhance brightness and extend the viewing distance, multiple ultra-high brightness LED chips are often packaged in a single pixel. Meanwhile, outdoor LED displays need to be waterproof, sun-proof, dust-proof, high temperature-resistant, wind-resistant and lightning-proof, which are not considerations for indoor models.
